Bullets flew in the direction of two Cincinnati police officers shortly after midnight Thursday. The shots were fired from a car as it pulled up onto a residential side street in College Hill. The officers were checking a report of shots fired into a home when, police said, someone started firing at them from a vehicle as they stood at a front porch along East Way at Groesbeck Road.The officers took cover and returned fire.
