Xiyue Wang, a husband, father and Princeton University doctoral student, has been imprisoned in Iran since August 2016 on charges of espionage. He was invited to study at a foreign language institute in Tehran and was granted permission by Iran’s Foreign Ministry to further his dissertation research. But President Trump’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Iran nuclear agreement has complicated his case, along with the cases of four other Americans detained in Iran. Qu sat down with Yahoo News' Stephanie Sy to talk about her imprisoned husband and what it's like raising a son on her own.
